Phos will also be encouraging everyone who is taking part in LEND to purchase and read a book called Outflow by Steve Sjogren and Dave Ping. We will be using this book in our worship services and in our LXGs(small groups) to bring depth and insight to the idea of LEND. The book is fantastic and really describes the core reasoning behind loving every “neighbor”. It is set-up as a 5-week devotional book with a reading for everyday. Full of scripture and stories, the writing is extremely engaging and will help loving your “neighbors” become part of who you are.

I love this book. The stories of how serving others connects them to God fires me up! And, I like that this can be read devotionally alongside my Bible to give me a daily reading plan. Steve Sjogren is a great resource for the church in America and around the world today. I hope all our folks dig into this book ’cause it will help them grow a ton!
