Neighbors who are they.

26Sep09

This whole LEND is opening my eyes, to so many possibilities of how I can invest, and invite people to experience Christ in a way that they have never thought possible. Today I spent most of the day with a friend in conversation about Christ and how he meets us where we are at, and sharing what Phos is trying to accomplish at 1,2,3,4,5, degrees. He and his wife and their children are hopefully coming a week after next. Then I get home and found out that another friend wants to come over and hang out. She as been going through some issues, as we talked the coolest thing happened, she shared that a friend left a christian radio station on in her car. So Alicia and I shared song after song on you-tube with her. It was amazing to LEND with a friend and spend time with my daughter. Jenny and her daughter are coming to bowman field on Sunday. The more I do the more I want to do, so much so that I get goose bumps on my arm, when I share the LEND and Phos story of how GOD meets us where we are at. OK, What a day. I got up early, to be at the finish line of the Louisville Marathon and Mini-marathon. I was there to cheer on my neighbor who has worked very hard to train for this event. He was glad to see a friendly face, since his wife and children couldn’t attend because his 5 year old was sick and his wife didn’t want to take him out in the cold. Then I hopped in the car and raced to Phos to listen to my beautiful wife sing. Then raced to get my tattoo colored in by someone that I’m praying for and dropping seeds on. Finished up my afternoon by playing disc golf with another person that is on my list of prayers. Finally got home and there was a knock at my door, it was the guy that bought the house next door and is trying to rent or sell it. He informed me that I have to move my truck that is parked in his parking place. Odd timing but I never miss an opportunity to lend. Now I’m hoping God will lend to me and give my fantasy football team the much needed points. If my mind and heart was not open to sowing seeds, then I wouldn’t even sow, let alone care if they fell on good ground.

    Be like 7eleven (always open)

    Tony
